Tangerang, June 18, 2025 – PT Mekar Investama Teknologi (MEKAR), in collaboration with Koperasi Abdi Kerta Raharja (AKR) Syariah and Yayasan Trilaksmi, organized an educational program titled “MSMEs Leveling Up: Women as Drivers in the Digital Era.” The event took place at the AKR Cooperative headquarters and aimed to empower women micro-entrepreneurs through financial literacy, access to technology-based financing, and strengthening digital capabilities.

This collaboration represents a concrete effort by the three institutions to build an inclusive ecosystem that empowers women as key pillars of family and community economies. The program highlighted the importance of digitalization in business development, understanding digital financial services, and protecting entrepreneurs from illegal lending practices.

E. Farida, Chairwoman of AKR Syariah Cooperative, expressed her appreciation for the initiative: “We see firsthand the enthusiasm of our members to learn and grow. We hope this activity can open new access and perspectives, enabling them to scale up and achieve economic independence.”

Meanwhile, Randy Ramdhan, Project Manager of PT Mekar Investama Teknologi, emphasized that financial inclusion must be built holistically.

“It is not only about access to capital, but also about creating a supportive and safe environment that fosters confidence among women MSME players. They have great potential, and our role is to open pathways for that potential to grow,” he explained. He also educated participants on the importance of being vigilant against harmful illegal lending practices.

During the interactive discussion session, Donny Septyanto from Yayasan Trilaksmi highlighted the role of women as economic drivers and introduced an affiliate program that offers additional income opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

“We believe that when women are empowered, families and communities grow as well. Through this program, we encourage them not only to be digitally literate but also to actively participate in a healthy and sustainable economic ecosystem,” Donny stated.

He also added that the program is connected to their group initiative, Mey Mey Goes to Kampoeng (MGK), which promotes women’s empowerment through local economic creativity, such as screen printing, embroidery, and sewing training.

The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT Mekar Investama Teknologi and Yayasan Trilaksmi, represented by Mahwi Winarto (Chief Operating Officer of MEKAR) and Meliana Sri Rahayu Halim (Chairwoman of Yayasan Trilaksmi). This partnership reflects a formal commitment to jointly support women MSMEs through sustainable, community-based empowerment programs.

As a form of direct support, MEKAR and Yayasan Trilaksmi also provided essential goods, including cooking oil and daily necessities, to participating women micro-entrepreneurs. This assistance is expected to serve as both practical support and encouragement for their business activities.

With a collaborative spirit, MEKAR, Yayasan Trilaksmi, and AKR Syariah Cooperative hope this initiative will serve as a strong foundation for building adaptive, competitive, and sustainable women-led MSMEs in the digital era.
