Jakarta, August 14, 2026 – PT Mekar Investama Teknologi (MEKAR), a fintech lending company and part of the MEKAR Ecosystem, has once again received recognition for its performance and journey in the financial technology industry through the Infobank Financial Technology Award 2026, in the category of “The Excellent Performance Financial Technology Company 2026 (Asset Class Under IDR 100 Billion).”
The award represents recognition of MEKAR’s ongoing journey in supporting productive financing sectors in Indonesia. Since focusing on financial technology in 2016, MEKAR has continued to grow as a P2P lending fintech company (Pindar), providing financing solutions for MSMEs and productive business sectors across Indonesia. As its business has evolved, MEKAR has become part of the MEKAR Ecosystem, which continues to expand by providing various solutions across productive sectors, ranging from trade financing through joint operation (KSO) schemes, to agriculture and waste-to-energy.
To date, 89.20% of MEKAR’s financing consists of productive loans, reflecting the company’s focus on supporting productive economic and business activities in Indonesia. Through its financing business, MEKAR has supported more than 133,000 MSMEs, with 75.3% of borrowers being women. As the MEKAR Ecosystem continues to grow, this contribution has expanded into the real sector, including agriculture, by optimizing more than 382 hectares of land, including previously idle land, and establishing partnerships with 519 farmers. These developments reflect MEKAR’s commitment to connecting access to financing with real economic activities and creating broader impact across Indonesia’s productive sectors.
For MEKAR, this recognition marks an important momentum to continue growing, strengthening innovation, and making a broader contribution to the development of productive sectors in Indonesia.

“This award is both an appreciation and a reflection of MEKAR’s journey in the fintech industry. For us, the challenge is not only about growing bigger, but also about continuously expanding access to financing and creating tangible impact for Indonesia’s productive sectors,” said Pandu Aditya Kristy, Chief Executive Officer of MEKAR.
The award was presented as part of the Leadership Mastery Forum 2026, organized by Infobank Media Group at The St. Regis Jakarta on August 14, 2026. Based on the positive assessment received by the company, MEKAR was named the recipient of the Infobank Financial Technology Award 2026 in the aforementioned category. The award was received by Pandu Aditya Kristy, CEO of MEKAR, and Mahwi Winarto, COO of MEKAR, who represented MEKAR at the event.
Carrying the theme “Leadership and Critical Thinking to Face Uncertainty,” the Leadership Mastery Forum 2026 brought together leaders and executives from the financial services industry. The forum also featured Dian Ediana Rae, Chief Executive of Banking Supervision and Member of the Board of Commissioners of OJK, as well as Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Commissioner of Bank Central Asia and senior banker, through leadership sessions and special remarks.
This achievement is part of MEKAR’s ongoing journey to grow, strengthen innovation, and create meaningful contributions to the development of Indonesia’s productive sectors together with all parts of the MEKAR Ecosystem. The award also marks the fourth recognition received by MEKAR throughout 2026, reflecting the company’s consistent efforts to deliver relevant solutions and create meaningful impact for Indonesia’s productive sectors.
