Women of Today: Smart, Independent, Empowered

Women of today ought to be smart, independent and empowered. Women’s empowerment is part of Mekar’s commitment to a more financially-inclusive Indonesia. We do this by providing women who own micro and small businesses access to the financing they badly need to grow their business.

Mekar is also helping Indonesian women become more independent by encouraging them to become a funder (lender) on the Mekar.id platform and earn a fixed income. By becoming a funder and lending through Mekar, they are also helping empower other women in the country.
