Women often find it hard to talk openly about the role money plays in their relationships and the way they see themselves. But this Kartini Day, MEKAR has invited three women to talk about just that: the taboo topic of money. In this video, Asri, a career woman whose salary is higher than that of her husband; Gesha, a mother of one who just recently resigned from her high-paying job; and Vey, a 52-year-old single mother talk about their financial condition, their insecurities, and how they stand tall and become empowered through it all.
Happy Kartini Day to all women in Indonesia!
